Rashmi embarked on her insurance career in 2014 after relocating from India, where she had a successful background as a behavioral and leadership trainer. An English Honors graduate, Rashmi’s academic foundation in communication and literature further enhanced her ability to connect with clients and colleagues. With her expertise in training and development, she seamlessly transitioned into the insurance industry, blending her skills with a passion for learning and adapting to new challenges. Over the past decade, Rashmi has worked extensively in commercial lines, earning both her CIP (Chartered Insurance Professional) and CRM (Certified Risk Manager) designations.

Her commitment to exceptional client service, risk management, and effective communication has been the cornerstone of her career. Rashmi is a strong advocate for collaboration and relationship-building, both within the industry and with clients. As the current president of the Professional Young Insurance Brokers of Alberta, she has revitalized the Young Brokers Conference after a 13-year hiatus, ensuring the next generation of professionals has access to valuable insights and networking opportunities.

Rashmi is passionate about mentorship and believes it is the key to helping newcomers thrive in the insurance industry. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys spending time with her twin boys, redecorating her home, cooking with her husband, and diving into a classic novel.
